A short film created for Terminal 1’s immersive experience at Glastonbury Festival 2025, featured in Cabin 2. Presented alongside live performance and audience interaction, the narrative unfolds through shadow play projected onto a tent. A child’s toy monster becomes a symbol of the unjust vilification of migrants, tracing a journey through displacement, perilous crossings, and the systemic forces that tear families apart. The experience culminates in an urgent plea for the audience to reflect on their own roles and perceptions in a world that cages the vulnerable while the powerful remain free, and to ask: who is the real monster?
