Set in the heart of the Belle Époque, Secret Cinema presents Moulin Rouge! brought together the Society of Love. Audiences became Creatures of the Underworld, Children of the Revolution, and Aristocrats, losing themselves in the disreputable underworld of 1899 Paris.

Thousands journeyed to the cobbled streets of Montmartre for the world-famous Moulin Rouge.
Some joined the passionate bohemians, raising a glass of absinthe to the revolution. Others rehearsed backstage for a potentially life-changing audition. In the end, everyone came together for an evening of ravishment at the legendary Parisian cabaret.

From rooftop scenes to live music and a final screening of Baz Luhrmann’s film, the production blended theatre, cinema and celebration into a triumphant immersive experience that honoured truth, beauty, freedom and above all things, love.
